I was in the neighborhood today and decided to stop by. We had heard a lot of things about Michette, but never had the opportunity until now. The bakery is pretty small (there were about 4 or 5 of us in there and it was a squeeze), but the food is phenomenal. I tried their orange blossom brioche and my mind was BLOWN. It was light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also bought a lot of their desserts to bring to a get together and they were a huge hit. I definitely want to come back again and try their croissants. Portions looked huge, staff were incredibly friendly and polite, and the line moved super quick! Highly recommend checking this shop out.

The best Boulangerie in the nation! The croissants have millions of layers that are very crunchy. The plain croissant tells Michette has top notch croissant. Mushroom Gruyere croissant is a french cuisine in a croissant format. Thanks for amazing experience! There are street parking spots nearby.

- Pain suisse, butter croissant and spinach and feta croissant and everything croissant are highly recommended. Price is just a bit steep at 5-6 dollars per, but the quality and quantity I think justify the price - very small space; just takeout. Line isn’t too long maybe 5 minutes

Superb experience—truly couldn’t have asked for better. Everything was top-notch from start to finish. I especially loved the flaky croissants, along with the canelé and the pork sausage–stuffed pastry.

We got the pistachio croissant, raspberry almond croissant, almond croissant, banana bread (vegan), two regular croissants, breakfast focaccia (ham and Swiss I believe), cinnamon buns, and sourdough loaf.

My favorite bakery around by a long shot. They have the classics and also get really creative with it. Like below is a miso-gruyere lattice style crossaint? Wow. The reason I go back is the orange and black sesame cookies. They are so good. Everything you get there will be good but I recommend getting at least a few of those cookies because you'll want more.

When one of my favorite bakers in Washington, D.C. gave me one Boston bakery recommendation, I had to go. Walking 30 minutes to order their pain suisse was well worth it. The space is small, but beautiful with the natural light pouring in. It's all grab and go, but there is a bench outside. I highly recommend visiting!

1st time going today. Very cute kind of hole in the wall bakery. Its small but with warmth. Everything they have look yummy and taste great. The breakfast bread was yummy n fresh, the Olive bread was a good hit for my friend who like everything olive. Chocolate croissant was good amount of chocolate. I can't have the pictacho. But my friend love the pictacho coffee, not to sweet just right. We can't wait for the Michette in Cambridge to open. You have alot of customers waiting

My favorites are the cheesecake — I usually buy a whole cake because it’s perfect for gifts and get-togethers with friends. I also love the chocolate croissant and baguette — everything tastes amazing! Thank you for the kind customer service. Such a cute store, too. I’ll definitely be back!

Boston’s best bakery for 2026 was delicious. I got to try salted Chocolate Fougasse, custardy canele, orange blossom brioche, and Kouiggn-amann (which that one was way too toffee in texture and I can’t chew that, but the lemon flavor was fantastic). Sooo delicious, and I love getting to try authentic foods from around the world right here at home :-)
